Lizard Island is an island and national park on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. The world-class research facilities at Lizard Island Research Station provide unprecedented access to some of the world's most pristine reefs, making them ideal for National Science Foundation-funded researchers who are studying coral microbiomes.
