This is a simulation of correlated electrons for superconducting materials. Research by Lucas K. Wagner, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking to completely characterize for the first time, the electronic structure of high-temperature superconductors. Findings from this effort will also help improve the fundamental understanding of electronic matter, which will aid scientists in the development of novel materials with new and exotic properties, including high-temperature superconductors.
