Mount William can be seen in the distance in this picture, taken from Torgersen Island, a small rocky island located off the south-west coast of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago of Antarctica. The National Science Foundation runs the U.S. Antarctic Program (USAP). In addition to maintaining three U.
